Anhydrous Sodium Sulfite CAS#7757-83-7
Sodium sulfite anhydrous is a widely used inorganic chemical product, which is highly soluble in water. Its aqueous solution shows an alkaline reaction, and its solubility increases with the rise in temperature. For instance, at 0℃, its solubility is 12.54g/100ml of water, and at 80℃, it is 283g/100ml of water. It is insoluble in ethanol and almost insoluble in ether. It has a relatively high melting point and is not prone to spontaneous combustion.
